Description

This position will serve Cortland’s air transportation needs by piloting Cortland’s private aircrafts, including Cessna 525B series and Gulfstream G450 aircrafts. This is a full time FAA Part 91 position based in Atlanta, GA. Job duties include:

• Provide safe and effective operation of the company aircraft(s) in the transportation of Cortland executives, associates, investors, and others.
• Support Aviation leadership in determining and filing flight plans, conducting pre- and post-flight inspections, securing food, beverages, or other supplies for the trip, and maintaining a clean passenger compartment.
• Interact with passengers to provide a pleasant travel experience; answer traveler questions related to the aircraft.
• Extensive travel including weekends and holidays.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education
•    High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience
•    Experience in the multifamily industry preferred
•    Experience as a Captain in a crew environment
•    Experience in a multi aircraft Part 91 flight department preferred

Skills & Certifications
•    FAA First Class Medical certificate required
•    Airline Transport License (ATP) required
•    Valid U.S. Passport
•    Knowledgeable of aircraft systems & avionics, aircraft emergency procedures, instrument flight procedures, FAA regulations, international flight rules, and IS-BAO/SMS.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications

Supervisory Responsibility
•    This position does not include supervisory responsibilities

FLSA Status
•    This position is classified as Salaried Exempt, and is not eligible for payment of time-and-one-half the regular rate of pay for hours worked over 40 in a week.
