Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and servicing aircraft including engines, engine systems, and airframe components to ensure aircraft remains in safe operating condition. Test, adjust and replace parts such as tires, wiring, and instruments using various test equipment, technical diagrams, maintenance manuals, and mechanics' tools. Fuel and groom the aircraft, inflates tires and fills gasoline and oil tanks. Maintain and repair hangar and ground support equipment. Perform duties related to all aircraft arrival and departures and provide all passengers with the highest level of assistance in meeting their particular individual requirements. May perform quality control inspection for work done by other technicians. Ensure documents and records are maintained.
Completes work preparatory to FAA-required formal inspections;
Diagnoses, isolates and repairs malfunctions reported by the aircrew;
Performs periodic inspections to ensure that aircraft meet FAA standards;
Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions primarily related to the mechanical components of the aircraft;
Performs quality control inspections for work done by other Technicians;
Provides technical assistance and guidance to other Technicians on areas of expertise, as required;
Completes proper inspection records, reports, and forms required by the CFR’s, company procedures or manufacturing recommendations;
Maintains and repairs hangar and ground support equipment;
Performs duties related to all aircraft arrival and departures;
Supervises outside maintenance contractors;
Ensures documents and records are maintained;
Stays abreast of improvements and progress in the aviation industry with particular reference to maintenance and repair methods and procedures;
Remains knowledgeable of pertinent areas of IS-BAO;
Remains knowledgeable of pertinent areas of the FOM;
Assumes any duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance.
Requirements
Holds a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate;
High School/GED diploma with a minimum of five years (5) of aviation work experience;
Falcon 900 EX EASY/2000 EX EASY and/or Honeywell EPIC system experience preferred;
Strong avionics background preferred.
AW139 helicopter experience desired.
Excellent communication skills, the ability to function within a team-oriented environment and work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
Position is primarily responsible for aircraft arrivals (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
