Esterline AVISTA is a software engineering company that caters to businesses in highly technical product development. We do all aspects of the software engineering life cycle, including requirements capture and analysis, software design and implementation, and software verification and validation. We provide engineering services and support for a wide variety of engineering disciplines ranging from life-critical systems for multi-national corporations to small applications. We have 20 years experience in Avionics, Medical Electronics, Industrial Automation and Windows Applications.

Company History
Founded in 1987 as an avionics software development consulting organization, Esterline AVISTA has evolved into a premier software engineering and project management services corporation for critical-systems development projects. In 2003, we joined with Esterline Technologies (NYSE: ESL), a leading specialty manufacturer serving aerospace and defense markets, as their center of software excellence. AVISTA maintains its headquarters in Platteville, Wisconsin, USA and has an office in Roseville, Minnesota.
We currently employ approximately 170 people, most of them on the engineering staff. More than 98% of our engineering staff holds a degree in computer science, software engineering, or other engineering fields; they average 11 years of experience. Unlike a staffing agency, Esterline AVISTA is an all employee organization — we hire quality and seek commitment, so we can deliver the same.
In 2007, Esterline AVISTA celebrated our 20th anniversary in the software engineering services arena serving the aerospace, defense, and medical industries. Esterline AVISTA clients such as Rockwell Collins, GE Aviation (formerly Smiths Aerospace), Honeywell, and Boeing celebrate with us on our successful evolution from a 10-person engineering staff to who we are today.
