Description
REACH Medical Holdings seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide safe, efficient air medical transport across California and the Western U.S. In this mission-critical role, you will fly emergency and interfacility missions, working closely with flight nurses, paramedics, dispatch, and ground partners. Responsibilities include pre-flight planning, risk assessment, weather evaluation, precise aircraft control, and strict adherence to FAA and company safety standards. You’ll participate in ongoing training, operate advanced aviation tools, and support a culture of safety, professionalism, and compassionate service for patients and communities in need.Safely operate rotary-wing aircraft for emergency and interfacility medical transports across assigned region
Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness
Coordinate closely with medical crew, dispatch, and ground agencies for time-critical missions
Maintain strict adherence to FAA regulations, company SOPs, and safety management systems
Assess weather, terrain, and landing zone conditions to make sound go/no-go and routing decisions
Accurately complete flight logs, operational documentation, and patient transport records as required
Participate in ongoing training, simulations, and safety drills to maintain currency and proficiency
Support outreach, hospital, and EMS partner relations through professional communication and conduct
Helicopter flight operations
IFR/VFR navigation
Air medical/EMS aviation

Weather interpretation
Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Night vision goggle (NVG) operations
Emergency procedures
Radio communication and ATC coordination

Current FAA Class II medical certificate (or higher)
Instrument Rating – Helicopter (IFR preferred)
Minimum 2,000 total helicopter flight hours

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening
