Description
REACH Medical Holdings seeks a skilled Helicopter Pilot to support 24/7 critical care air medical transport across California and the Western U.S. In this role, you will fly IFR/VFR missions for emergency and interfacility transports, ensuring strict adherence to FAA regulations, company SOPs, and a robust safety culture. You’ll collaborate closely with flight nurses, paramedics, and dispatch, executing rapid, high-acuity missions. REACH offers advanced training, modern aviation technology, strong team support, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on patients and communities in need.Operate IFR/VFR helicopter missions for emergency and interfacility medical transport across the Western U.S.
Ensure strict adherence to FAA regulations, company SOPs, and safety management systems on every flight.
Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, weather evaluation, weight and balance, and post-flight documentation.
Work closely with flight nurses, paramedics, and communications to coordinate rapid, safe patient transport.
Maintain readiness for 24/7 response, including nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
Participate in recurrent training, simulator sessions, and check rides to maintain proficiency and currency.
Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
Communicate clearly with ATC, ground EMS, hospitals, and internal teams during high-pressure operations.
Contribute to a safety-first, mission-focused culture through debriefs and continuous improvement feedback.
Represent REACH professionally with partner agencies, patients, and families.

Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
Minimum flight hours as defined by REACH/FAA (e.g., PIC and turbine time)
Night and IFR operational experience preferred
Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screenings
Eligibility to work in the United States
Helo-EMS/air medical experience preferred
NVG experience a plus
Completion of recurrent training and check rides as required
